ThinkPad Tablet To Come Shipped With Optional Keyboard Cover

So a couple of weeks ago, we reported that Lenovo will be launching a 10-inch tablet this summer, which comes in two flavors, one aimed at consumers at one aimed at enterprise users, which will be under their ThinkPad lineup. According to reports, the ThinkPad tablet will start shipping out within three to four weeks and they are said to be running on NVidia’s Tegra-2 dual-core processor while featuring a 10.1-inch display (1280 x 800), and it will also most likely be running on the Android Honeycomb operating system.

More interesting however will be the keyboard case that will be an option for buyers. Not much is known about the keyboard case other than the fact that it’s leather-wrapped and will hold a full-on keyboard and optical tracking sensor, which we’re guessing will be connected via USB, or any other form of physical connection. No word on the price of the ThinkPad tablet or the keyboard case, but I guess we will start finding out closer to the date.
