T-Mobile’s G2X Gets Overclocked To 1.5GHz

Published

Despite T-Mobile’s G2X facing several concerning issues, it is a pretty good phone under the hood, what with it sporting NVidia’s Tegra 2 dual-core processor, and now it seems that thanks to the guys down at XDA Developer’s forum and a custom kernel, G2X users can overclock their device to a blazing 1.5GHz.

Of course overclocking your device would just result in a battery drain but if you’re one of those people that love overclocking your computer among other devices then perhaps this is something you would be interested in. The custom kernel is still in beta stages which means there is a good chance that you will encounter several issues, although nothing major at the moment, and updates are coming which should make the build more stable.

Head on down to the forums for more information.
