If you’re a fan of Swype it looks like the developers are getting ready to push out the latest version which is 3.0, which should be entering Beta testing phase soon. Members of the beta should be expecting the beta to be released some time later today.

In the beta Swype will gain tap correction support and providing predictive text for those times when you would prefer to tap out the word rather than “swyping” it and the predicted words are now displayed in a horizontal word choice bar above the keyboard rather than as a popup selection as was the previous version of Swype.

Honeycomb users will be glad to know that Swype will be providing support for WXGA displays and will feature a movable and resizeable keyboard.
