Sharp Aquos SH-12C Makes Its Way To The FCC

Remember we reported that Japan’s NTT DoCoMo would be getting the Sharp Aquos SH-12C 3D phone that featured 3D recording capabilities? Well it looks like the phone will be making their way to the US as it was recently spotted at the FCC. It looks like it will be competing with the likes of the LG Optimus 3D and the HTC EVO 3D.

For those who forgot the specs of the Sharp Aquos SH-12C 3D, the Aquos will be featuring a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor and packs a 4.2-imch qHD (540 x 960) glasses-free 3D screen, an 8-megapixel camera for 2D and 3D video + picture capturing, 512MB RAM, 2GB ROM, WiFi, HSDPA 14Mpbs, Bluetooth and GPS.

However the FCC approval does not mean we will be seeing it arrive in the States, although it’s still a good sign, hopefully we will see this device arrive in the States and provide users an alternative to the 3D phones currently being offered by both LG and HTC.
