Nokia Play To Goes Beta

Published

on

For those unfamiliar with Nokia Play To, it’s an application that was developed for Symbian^3 which allows users to play or show their media stored on their phones over WiFi networks and broadcast it to compatible devices, such as televisions, computers or home audio systems. In a way it’s quite similar to Apple’s Airplay.

Good thing about Nokia Play To is that it uses DLNA meaning no additional configuration is needed as long as there’s a WiFi connection that all the related devices are connected to. If you’re a Symbian^3 user and you want to have a go at the Nokia Play To beta, then just head on down to their website for more information. It’s nice to see that Nokia is keeping true to its word at continuing providing Symbian support despite their focus shift to Windows Phone 7.
