Nokia China Announces Two New Symbian^3 Smartphones

Just because Nokia has entered into a agreement with Microsoft to produce Windows Phone 7 devices does not mean that they have completely ignored their other phones, and Nokia China’s released of two new Symbian^3 smartphones proves just that.

Meet the Nokia T7-00 and the Nokia 702T, both Symbian^3 devices and both are housed in rather familiar looking designs, so if you were hoping for some new design you may be disappointed.

The Nokia T7-00 is rather reminiscent to the Nokia N8 but instead comes with a lower 8MP camera but an upgraded screen, a 3.5-inch clear black display touchscreen with a 640 x 360 resolution to be specific. Other than the lowered camera megapixel resolution and upgraded in display it’s pretty much more or less the Nokia N8.

The Nokia 720T on the other hand when looked upon immediately brings forth images of the Nokia E6. It comes with a 2.46 inch screen featuring a 640 x 480 resolution and an 8MP EDoF camera with dual LED flash which also supports 720p video capture. It also comes with larger Ctrl and Function buttons, with the Ctrl buttons acting as a switch between Chinese and English language.
