At Computex not only did MSI reveal some ultra thin laptops, but they also unveiled two new tablets – the MSI WindPad 110W and the WindPad 100A.

The WindPad 110W is aimed with enterprise users in mind and it will feature an AMD Fusion processor running on the Windows 7 platform, contains 2GB of RAM, features wireless capabilities and SSD (solid-state drive) storage up to 64GB. It comes weighing in at 850 grams and offers about six hours of battery life which according to MSI who said is the “the longest of any tablet with Windows architecture.”

The WindPad 100A on the other hand is targeted at regular consumers. It has a dual-core ARM processor running the latest version of Google’s Android operating system, contains 1GB of RAM, features wireless capabilities and SSD storage up to 32GB. It also weighs 740 grams and can run for eight hours between battery charges. When they said the latest version of Android they do not specify if it will be Gingerbread 2.3 or Honeycomb 3.0, however since both tablets have 10-inch screens which can display images at a resolution of 1200 by 800 pixels, it would not be totally off to assume that it would be running on Honeycomb 3.0.
