Not sure if it was done on purpose but in a series of several tutorial videos on how to use the device we managed to see the Motorola Droid 3 in action. Some of the features that was spotted in the Droid 3 reveal how the sliding QWERTY keyboard has been slightly revamped and that the Droid 3 now features an 8MP camera which records full HD 1080p videos, new volume buttons, a microUSB port and a HDMI out port on the left.

The Android device will also be featuring the Swype typing system so that you will have an alternative to typing should you choose not to use the sliding keyboard. According to the videos the software on the Droid 3 has yet to be finalized so perhaps we will be seeing a better version in the final copy. Dragos Pirvu at SoftSailor seems to that the Droid 3 will most likely be running on a dual-core processor and we will be seeing Google’s newly anticipated Android operating system, Ice Cream Sandwich, as the device’s operating system.

If all that sounds interesting and you watch to check out the videos in action, you can check Part 1 out here, Part 2 here and Part 3 here.
