Monster Hunter Comes To The iPhone

If you don’t own a PSP and you were wondering what the big deal was about Capcom’s Monster Hunter, well it looks like you may very well get to find out for yourself, but only if you own an iPhone, thanks to Capcom’s release of Monster Hunter: Dynamic Hunting for the iPhone. You basically go about hunting monsters and slaying them and then fashioning weapons and armors out of their body parts.

The game’s combat system is designed in such a way that it feels reminiscent of Infinity Blade – you attack by tapping with one finger, you block by tapping two fingers and you evade by swiping two fingers to the left or right of the screen. Multiplayer is also available so you and another friend can connect to each other and battle monsters together via Bluetooth.

If you’re interested it’s available in the iTunes App Store for $4.99 which seems like quite a steal.
