“Mole” Claims iPad 3 And iPhone 5 Will Be Out This Year

As most of us following the tech news already know, the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S has long been rumored to see a fall release. There was some initial hope that we would be seeing it at Apple’s WWDC, but alas WWDC has come and gone with no mention of the next generation iPhone, other than getting a glimpse at the new iOS 5. There have also been rumors earlier this year that the iPad 3 will be released this year, which goes against Apple’s tradition of giving their products a year’s life cycle.

Apparently a source within the UK’s biggest satellite broadcaster has confirmed that come September, not only will we see the next iPhone, but also the announcement of the iPad 3, which many are hoping for the same retina display that was featured on the iPhone 4, which sadly did not make its way on to the iPad 2. These are rather bold claims with no evidence to back them up, but if one thing is consistent, it’s that something will go down this fall with Apple. As with all rumors, take this with a grain of salt, at the very least it will prove to be an entertaining discussion with your friends.
