LG Genesis Available On US Cellular

A couple weeks back we reported that there were rumors that the LG Genesis clam shelled Android device would be making its way to US Cellular, and turns out that those rumors were indeed true and that the device will be available on the carrier for a price of $149.99 which has taken a $100 mail-in rebate into consideration already, for a 2-year contract, which coincides with the previous rumor that it would cost $250 for a 2-year contract.

• 1GHz Snapdragon processor
• 3.5-inch external touchscreen.
• 3.2-inch internal touchscreen
• Five-row QWERTY keyboard
• 430MB of internal memory
• 8GB microSD card
• DLNA multimedia sharing

It’s still a bit disappointing that the device will come shipped with Android’s Froyo 2.2 and judging how long it usually takes for carriers and OEMs to update, it might be a while before this device sees the Ginger 2.3 update.
