Is Acer Working On A Windows 7 Tablet?

Published

on

Acer has been producing Android tablets, with the exception of their MeeGo tablet, the M500 but it looks like they might be branching out to Windows 7 now and this time they will be using AMD’s latest processor, the Desna Z series which was designed for tablets in mind, at least that’s what the rumors are saying, who claimed that Acer has recently ordered over 80,000 units of the AMD Z chips for use in tablets aimed at the enterprise market.

Enterprise markets usually tend to lean more towards Windows as their mobile platform, although lately it looks like businesses are looking at Apple’s iPad for productivity. Until we actually see Acer’s Windows 7 tablet I guess we will have to take this information with a pinch of salt.
