iOS 5’s Camera To Have Native Panorama Support?

Published

on

If you love taking panorama photos with your iPhone there’s a high chance that you’re probably using one of the many panorama apps available in the iTunes AppStore, but good news as it looks like according to the iOS 5 code there might be support for native panorama photo taking when iOS 5 gets released. Currently the option is not available but it seems that later versions of the iOS 5 beta will come with the ability to enable it.

Question is whether this feature will be made available only for iPhone 4 users and above or will the 3GS support it as well. Earlier we had reported that there were certain features in iOS 5 that was not available on the iPhone 3GS, namely tabbed browsing and native camera editing. HDR support can be found on the iPhone 4’s camera app so we’re wondering if iOS 5 will bring panorama and HDR to the third generation iPhone?

Stay tuned as more on this develops.
