iOS 5: Twitter Integration

The rumors that have been floating around prior to yesterday’s WWDC suggested that Apple would be employing deep Twitter integration into their new iOS 5 and as it turns out those rumors are indeed true as it was unveiled yesterday that Apple did include the integration into their latest iOS.

There will be Twitter buttons located in your photos and in Safari so you can basically send out a tweet whenever you want to without actually having to launch an additional application just for tweeting. Geotagging is also available just by tapping the add location button and dedicated @ and # buttons are also included when you are preparing your tweets and autocomplete the usernames to help you out.

This is great news for iOS users who love to tweet on the go, or maybe it’ll just open up a door for those who have considered entering the Twitter world. Personally I would have liked to see Facebook integration but perhaps that will come later.
