iOS 5 To Allow Downloading Over 3G And WiFi Simultaneously?

As it stands iOS only allows for downloading from either 3G or WiFi, and if it’s on 3G iOS will only allow a maximum of 20MB per download, but usually apps tend not to go over 20MB, and for those that do chances are you will want to download it over your home internet to conserve bandwidth.

Further digging into iOS 5 has revealed that iOS 5 will allow for downloading over both 3G and WiFi connections simultaneously allowing for faster downloads. Good news is that the 20MB cap will still be imposed on 3G connections so fear not, your data cap will still be preserved. Right now there has been no mention as to whether or not simultaneous downloading will be an option although common sense does dictate that it will most definitely be an option.
