iBuildApp Expands To Android

Published

If you’ve ever wanted to create an app but you do not possess the technical know-how and you’re not in the mood to read thick stacks of coding manuals then it looks like iBuildApp is right up your alley. For those who are unfamiliar, iBuildApp is a tool that allows those without any technical knowledge whatsoever to create apps through the use of a WYSIWYG editor which is completely web-based. Initially it was only for iOS app creation but now it looks like they have extended their services to Android and rightfully so considering the pace that Android is growing.

Some of the templates they have provided include:

  • restaurants
  • e-commerce stores
  • insurance and real estate agents
  • car dealers
  • doctor and medical offices
  • fitness centers
  • corporations
  • bloggers
  • bookstores
  • photo portfolios (and photographers)
  • travel guides
  • sports teams
  • music
  • personal social networking

The next update for the tool will apparently give users access to GPS, SMS and camera features and that update is expected to drop in the second half of June. So if you’re a wannabe programmer and you’ve been dying to get your app into the iTunes App Store or the Android Market, what are you waiting for?
