Huawei MediaPad Teaser Ad

Not too long ago we wrote that Huawei was set to unveil their tablet device, the 7-inch MediaPad, in Singapore come June 20th. Not much information regarding the device at the moment, rather surprisingly tight-lipped about the whole affair, and more surprising there hasn’t been any specs leaks of any kind so far but just rumors that it will feature a capacitive touch screen and is likely to boast a native resolution of 1280 x 800.

Additional rumors also claim that the MediaPad will be powered by a dual core processor and NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor and Qualcomm’s MSM8660 and MSM8620 are the most likely candidates. Word has it that Android’s Honeycomb 3.0 will be the platform of choice on the MediaPad as well.

Anyway we’re guessing that the Huawei MediaPad shouldn’t be priced too much as Huawei is known for their competitive pricing but if you want to check out the teaser ad for the MediaPad just head on down to YouTube for the video. Stay tuned as June 20th is only a week away.
