HTC Thunderbolt MR2 Update Leaked

Remember when we reported that Verizon was working on an update that would address several issues that the HTC Thunderbolt was facing, namely random reboots, and that the update should be made available some time in the second week of June?

Well it looks like the update has been leaked already and along with the leak came with some improvements, namely in the form of better signal strength and a 3G/4G toggle and also the much talked about fix to the random reboot issues that have been plaguing HTC Thunderbolt users.

No word on whether this update is the official update or the final build of the update but if the random reboots are too much to bear just head on down to Android Police’s website for the download and additional information. As always with all unofficial patches or updates install at your own risk, for all we know the update could cause additional problems that we’re not aware of at the moment but if you would like to chance it click the link above.
