HTC Thunderbolt Is Faster Than DROID Charge On Verizon’s 4G?

Published

on

Both the HTC Thunderbolt and DROID Charge are under Verizon’s network and they both support 4G connectivity and as both their names suggest, they’re fast but apparently in some tests conducted it seems that the HTC Thunderbolt pulled ahead of the DROID Charge in terms of 4G speeds. The HTC Thunderbolt outperformed the DROID Charge 80% of the time and pulled in an average of 16.7Mbps while the DROID Charge only managed 11.4Mbps. Granted these speeds are considered pretty fast compared to the other carriers out there but if you were trying to decide which device to get, in terms of speed it looks like the HTC Thunderbolt is the clear winner.

In terms of battery life and for texting it seems that the DROID Charge is the better of the two however once again all this just boils down to preference, and these speeds already beat the 3G speeds out there so technically getting either device will definitely allow you to enjoy blazing fast download speeds.
