HTC Desire S And Wildfire S Coming To US Celluar

It looks like the smartphone of US Cellular just got bigger, which is good news for US Cellular customers who were hoping for a wider range of smartphones to choose from. No word yet on whether it is official but if the rumors are to be believed it looks like they will be coming to US Cellular, and soon.

The HTC Desire S comes equipped with a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor and an Adreno 205 GPU  while running on Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 platform, which is an improvement over the current popular Desire, as well as featuring a 1.3MP front facing camera.

The HTC Wildfire S will be packing a 600 MHz processor along with Android Gingerbread 2.3 complemented by the HTC Sense user interface. It also has a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen with 262k color support, 320 x 480 pixels resolution, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn-off.  Memorywise the phone packs 512 MB ROM, 512 MB RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion that goes up to 32GB.
