Google Introduces Huddle, A Group Text Messaging Feature

So we all know that Google has big plans, from leading the smartphone industry, search engines and even their own operating system for computers. Well it looks like Google has their eyes set on the social networking scene as well, as they have launched a field test of their social network, Google+, and one of those features in Google+ would be the “Huddle” feature. In their own words:

Texting is great, but not when you’re trying to get six different people to decide on a movie. Huddle turns all those different conversations into one simple group chat, so everyone gets on the same page all at once.

Huddle will be one of the features of the social network that Google is trying to build, where you can send out text messages to your chosen “Circle” of friends. We’re not sure exactly is this revolutionary, with apps such as Whatsapp or BBM or Skype that allows for select group chat, but since the field test is closed to a select few who got invites, we’ll have to wait for the proper unveiling to get a better idea, but for now the idea just seems like it’s been done before.
