British Airways Offering iPad For Their Passengers

Published

on

Good news if you fly British Airways, especially if you fly in either first class or business class because it looks like the airline company is thinking of providing their passengers with iPads as entertainment units during the flight as opposed to the DVD players that they normally use. The iPads are installed with several magazines, newspapers, movies, games and music. Currently they are running trials on how well the iPads will be received by passengers and they are running those trials on their Boeing 777 aircrafts.

Sounds pretty interesting although personally I’d prefer sitting back and watching a movie without having the hold it in my hand especially during long flights, although the iPad could provide entertainment for the kids especially in terms of games. Take note that iPads will have to be stowed away during take off and landing but Angry Birds while in high altitude anyone?
