AT&T’s Motorola Bravo Has Third Party Applications Enabled

Are you a fan of third party apps? Or perhaps you’d like to be able to access the Amazon Appstore, but thanks to AT&T blocking your device, you’re only allowed to have access to Android Market. Not that it’s a bad thing, but more variety is always welcome. Anyway AT&T users of the Motorola Bravo can now rejoice, because AT&T has finally allowed the device to access third party applications, but this isn’t an OTA update, but rather an app that you would have to download from the Android Market, which can be found here.

As it stands, within AT&T, only the Samsung Infuse 4G, and (now) the Motorola Bravo are enabled to install third party applications and gain access to Amazon’s Appstore. We’re guessing the app is probably limited to just the Motorola Bravo, but either way it looks like it could be a trend we will start seeing in the future, and we can only hope that AT&T will bring about those unlocks to other Android devices under their name.
