Apple Removes 15 Minute Window For In App Purchases

Apple usually has a 15 minute window whereby users would only have to enter their username and password once and within that 15 minute time frame users could purchase apps or in app purchases without having to re-enter their username and password. Now it looks like Apple will be doing away with that 15 minute window, possibly in lieu with people making purchases accidentally.

Accidental purchases was one of the criticisms that was levied at Apple, citing potential developer abuse on in app purchases which is why Apple has finally decided to do away with the 15 minute window. No word from Apple yet as to why these changes were brought about.

These new changes arrived alongside with the iTunes 10.3 update.
