The Onavo App Helps Your iOS Device Conserve Data

I am pretty sure there are some of you out there who have once or twice gone over their data cap and have incurred an insanely expensive bill. I am also pretty sure upon receiving those bills you went and called your carrier and gave the poor customer service representation on the other end a good lashing. Or perhaps you’re a good customer and understood that since you went over your limit you have to pay for your usage.

The good folks at Onavo have created an app that allows you to conserve your data by compressing the data through its cloud servers before sending it back to you. While this method is slightly slower it will help you to manage your data consumption especially if you do not wish to see that 4-figured telephone bill again. It also informs you which app that you are running consumes the most data thereby giving you the choice of using it less or at the very least making you aware.
