T-Mobile Increases Price Of G2X?

Published

on

So for a device where many customers have complained about the numerous issues that have plagued it since the beginning is now going to be even more expensive than when it was first launched? If this internal screenshot of T-Mobile’s plan to increase the price of the G2X (thanks to TmoNews) is true, it looks like T-Mobile is set to raise the price of the LG G2X device by an additional $50.

Their reasoning? It apparently is so popular that they have run out of stock, and because it is so popular they now see it fit to raise the price of the device. I guess you can’t blame them since they are just following the basic principles of economics, the law of supply and demand, and since the product is scarce due to high demand, they want more money for it. Original price of the device used to be $199.99, but now it is $299.99 with a $50 mail in rebate, which brings it to a total of $249.99 for the LG G2X.

So do you think this is a fair move by T-Mobile? Does the new price increase put you off from buying the device? Let us know.
