T-Mobile Adds Another Tablet to their Lineup

T-Mobile may very well be on their way to adding an additional tablet to their current lineup which includes the G-Slate and supposedly the HTC Flyer as well. So what exactly is this rumored T-Mobile tablet? They have recently filed for the name SnapPad and have also made purchases for the domain name as well.

To me it sounds like it could be a netbook although that does not really seem like it’s up T-Mobile’s alley which can only mean a tablet device that can open and shut.
PocketNow seems to think so too and they have a feeling that SnapPad could actually be referring to Sony’s S2, pictured above to the right, which is a clamshell tablet with its pair of 5.5-inch 1,024 x 480 pixel displays, Tegra 2 SoC, and a camera. The S2 will also be running on Android’s Honeycomb 3.0 operating system.

As of right now we can only speculate as to what the SnapPad could be but ever since Sony’s S1 and S2 tablets have gone official, this rumor may very well contain more than a couple grains of truth.
