T-Mobile’s Samsung Hawk To Be Launched June 8th

It looks like not only will T-Mobile’s HTC Sensation 4G be hitting the shelves during Apple’s WWDC mid year, but it seems that T-Mobile’s Samsung Hawk, also known as Samsung Exhibit 4G, will be joining it as well along side the mid-ranged Samsung Smart which will sport a 3.2 inch display, 800MHz processor, a 3-megapixel camera with LED flash and it will be running on Android 2.2 Froyo.

Now while not nearly as impressive as the HTC Sensation 4G the Samsung Hawk will be sport a 3.7 inch display while running on a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, featuring a 3-megapixel camera with LED flash with a front-facing VGA camera for video chat, 21Mbps HSPA+ support and runs Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread right out the box. The price shown above is probably the price of the unlocked device, suggesting that it could go for as low as $50-$100 upon release and upon contract.

It looks like these devices are really looking to try to steal some spotlight from Apple’s WWDC but it seems more likely that the HTC Sensation 4G will be a stronger competitor than these other two devices.
