Sony offers vague PlayStation Network service restoration

Love gaming? So the PlayStation Network (PSN) isn’t really mobile-centric, but we understand that a large number of our readers do game – hence this post. Ever since Sony’s PlayStation Network (PSN) was hacked and taken offline, people have been wondering just how much longer do they need to wait before the service is restored and as some would put it, life returns to normal. Well, it might be a good thing that the PSN had an intrusion, as this kind of forced withdrawal might be just the catalyst required to make sure that addicts to PSN are able to quit cold turkey and find something else to occupy their time. I digress, and intend to bring you word that Sony has mentioned it would take at least “a few more days” to restore service to its online PlayStation Network.
A new statement that was posted on Sony’s PlayStation blog on today saw Sony spokesman Patrick Seybold say, “I know you all want to know exactly when the services will be restored. At this time, I can’t give you an exact date, as it will likely be at least a few more days.”

Thanks for the ultra vague statement, Patrick. Can we also say that we can’t give you an exact date when it comes to payment, as it will likely be a few more days? Obviously not, and the scale of problems are more different, but do you think corporate giants could do better in reassuring customers during moments like these?
