Samsung Galaxy S II overclocked by another 50%

Smartphones do not get any more impressive or powerful than the Samsung Galaxy S II, and here we are with one that has been pumped up even more. With a dual-core Exynos 4210 processor inside, the processor will see its speed bumped up all the way to a whopping 1.5GHz compared to the 1GHz which it started off with, courtesy of coolbho3000 who tends to make the xda-developers forum as his playground. Of course, he knows that there might just be other Samsung Galaxy S II owners out there who do have his intestinal fortitude to perform the overclocking.

How are you going to go about it? Well, nice to know coolbho3000 has released the source code as well as relevant instructions so that you too will be able to enjoy a stable overclock on your Galaxy S II. Just bear in mind that an increased clock speed (we are talking about another 50% here) would just mean greater strain on your battery life, so do make sure that you have planned out your day’s routes with power outlets all around.

Oh yeah, there is also that thing about your smartphone’s warranty being voided if you pull a stunt like this.
