Nokia’s Luxury Phone, The 18-Carat Oro

If there was ever a phone worth fighting for or perhaps you have too much money to spend, then maybe this 18-carat Nokia Oro might be something you want to take a look, or perhaps a couple of looks, at. However what makes this phone unique is that unlike its previous series of luxury phones, this Nokia phone is also a smartphone which means you can now check your e-mails, surf the web and log onto Facebook in style.

The Nokia Oro will be priced at 800 Euros and there is also a choice of Nokia Oro Dark or Nokia Oro Light, the difference being in the colour of the leather finish. Granted it’s probably not the most powerful smartphone in the market but it has all basic functions of a smartphone including HSDPA 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display. It will be running on the Symbian platform and will also feature a 8-megapixel camera with 720p video recording will also be part of the phone.

The Nokia Oro will start selling in selected countries across the Europe, Eastern Europe, China and the Middle East in Q3 2011, although there is no mention of it making its way to the States. Then again if you could afford the 800 Euros you could always have it imported.
