Nokia E6 & X7 Already In Europe

So it looks like Nokia is still releasing phones running their Symbian operating system and one cannot fault them for it as they still need to churn out products to keep afloat, at least until their Windows Phone 7 devices are ready. Fans of the Symbian operating system should be pleased after Nokia’s X7 and E6 (pictured left and right respectively) have been spotted in Europe and is now available for pre-order.

The Nokia X7 was initially meant to be launched in the US with AT&T carrying it but the deal was cancelled and it looks like Europe will be the one getting the phone now, and that’s where it will be staying too unfortunately for those in the US who wanted to get their hands on it. The Nokia X7 features a 680MHz ARM11 processor with a Broadcom BCM2727 GPU, 256MB of RAM and 1GB of ROM and comes with an 8GB microSD card for storage although there is 350MB of storage onboard the device itself. It also sports a 8mp camera that is capable of shooting 720p HD video although it does come at a rather steep price of €459 ($655). Doesn’t seem to be worth it as there are better and faster phones out there for the same price or even less.

The E6 features a 680MHz processors and 256MB of RAM but comes with a higher 8GB of internal storage. Seems like the E6 was designed for those who prefer messaging and it also sports a battery life of 15 hours of talk time too. The E6 pre-order price is at €429 ($612) which is cheaper compared to the X7 but still relatively more expensive compared to other phones with better specs and features.
