Nokia Announces Dual SIM Phone X1-01

If you’re in the market for a dual SIM capable device it looks like Nokia might have just the phone for you. Introducing the X1-01 that runs on Series 30 which means this phone is good for calling and texting, not for browsing if that’s what you were hoping for. Its target audience is India, China and Africa. What makes it so unique is that it not only holds two SIM cards but it keeps them both active at the same time meaning you will be able to receive calls and text messages from either number.

The X1-01 offers up to 43 days of standby time and 13 hours talk time, has a super loud speaker on the rear of the device, the ability to play MP3 files, an FM radio and there’s even a flashlight on top. The phone will also be priced around 34 Euros. All in all a very basic phone, not to mention extremely affordable, with a unique dual SIM feature for those who want to be able to carry 2 numbers without having to deal with the additional bulk of another phone.
