New Sony Ericsson Phones Leaked

Published

It wasn’t too long ago that we heard that there was a purported leak of a Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot phone that will be running on the Android operating system. Now it seems that there are more phones that are looking to be released by Sony Ericsson this year, the CK15i and the ST18i.

It seems very likely that the CK15i will neither run on Android nor will it be a smartphone which is probably a first from Sony Ericsson this year. The CK15i has a touch screen display with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels and will also feature a slide-out keyboard. The operating system on the phone will most likely to be running on Java Platform 8 which is also know as A200.

The ST18i however looks like an Xperia design and will most probably be running on Android much like the Xperia arc. However it is thought to be an unspecified ARM Cortex A8 processor. The ST18i is believed to be a mid-range device for customers who are looking for a display that is in between the Xperia mini’s small display and the larger display of the Arc. Chances of Facebook integration with the Xperia also seems very likely.

Release dates and prices are still unknown at the moment so stay tuned.
