Motorola’s Droid X Project?

Published

on

It was only the other day when Motorola put out the call to look for beta testers for their Cliq 2 software update, and now it seems that Motorola is seeking some assistance from the community again, this time for a project with regards to their Droid X device. Members on Motorola’s Owner’s Forum have received e-mails from “Matt” saying:

“Dear Motorola Owners’ Forums member,

We are preparing a project for Droid X owners and would like to invite you to take part. We are now opening the project for registration.

Please click this link to take a short enrollment survey if you are interested. Please note that this is a confidential project under the terms of the Motorola Feedback Network. Do not post any details or information about this project on any public sites.

At this time, there are few details to share, but if you register we’ll provide more information. If you have any questions, please e-mail me here.

Thanks again, and we hope to be in contact with you soon.

There have been some speculation that this is with regards to Gingerbread as they are looking for people to test and give feedback based on it. Of course this has not been confirmed officially and those signed to the project will probably have to sign NDA’s, but either way it’s a good idea by Motorola to get their users involved in the process.
