Italy to Get First Gingerbread Update for Samsung Galaxy Tab

Great news – Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 will be rolling out to Samsung Galaxy Tab owners in Italy! It seems that Italy will be the first country to be receiving the operating system update. As for the rest of the world, be patient as I am sure it will be coming soon.

Of course there are unofficial updates but with all official updates they will be optimized to make full use of the tablets hardware and features. It will also provide access to Samsung’s custom widgets and app store.
