iPhone 4 Sleeve Brings 4G Connection

When it comes to iPhone casings/sleeves we are spoilt for choice. From sleeves that are designed to protect your iPhone from hard knocks and high drops to luxury sleeves by high end fashion brands to the downright silly sleeves where no one in their right mind would actually buy and use. Then there are also the sleeves that provide extra battery life when needed. However Korean Telecom has taken it one step further with their Egg sleeve which not only provides extra battery life but also brings WiMAX connection to the iPhone 4.

As we all know the iPhone 4 does not support 4G which is why Korean Telecom’s Egg provides a handy but not-so-elegant solution to that problem. Not only does it provide the user with extra battery life and a WiMAX connection, it also adds an extra 2.4 ounces (68g) of weight but also and an additional third of an inch (8mm) in thickness. That’s the price one has to pay for extended battery life and the ability to use WiMAX on the iPhone 4.

Currently the Egg retails for ₩129,800 or $120 but unfortunately it is not available to those outside of South Korea.
