After Intel had announced that they will be shifting their focus into mobile devices they went on today to announce that they will be unveiling 10 MeeGo and Android tablets at this year’s Computex. It seems that they are moving pretty quickly and taking this mobile processor thing rather seriously.

Other than the ten devices that they have planned, Intel’s general manager Navin Shenoy also said that they will be putting their chipsets on more than 35 tablets this year alone, ranging from MeeGo, Windows and Android.

Does this mean that we will be seeing MeeGo tablet devices, not just on phones too? I guess we will have to wait for Computex 2011 before any of this becomes official. It looks like Intel is seriously looking to wrest control back of the processor market by aggressively pursuing the mobile device market.
