HTC Puccini is no sticker book

For those who loved collecting stickers when they were young, can you remember the Panini brand? I just thought that it was quite amusing to see the HTC Puccini sound somewhat like it, but I digress. The HTC Puccini is no child’s play, as it is rumored to be a tablet device that is powered by Google’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Bear in mind that this is the third HTC tablet rumor that we’ve heard of to date, with the HTC Verdi being the second. The HTC Puccini is tipped to come with a 10″ display, compatibility with AT&T’s future 4G LTE network and a front-facing camera for video calls. It is interesting to note that as AT&T is unable to roll out their 4G network until later in 2011, do not hope to see HTC release an AT&T compatible model of the HTC Puccini at least until later this summer.

Of course, that does not mean those living in Europe will have to wait long for a GSM version of the Puccini, or at least for a Wi-Fi model Stateside. Similar to its 7-inch predecessor (the HTC Flyer), the HTC Puccini is tipped to come with HTC’s very own Scribe with digital pen input.

The HTC Verdi and HTC Puccini will most likely be two different devices, and we do hope HTC will churn out masterpieces that are on par with the names of Italian composers that HTC chose for these 10″ tablets. No idea on word or pricing at press time, but knowing how expensive the HTC Flyer is (circa $499), you would do well to have a more generous estimate with the HTC Puccini.
