Folks looking forward to getting their hands on HP’s upcoming webOS phone the Veer won’t have to wait for long anymore. Just like we predicted when its press shots were leaked, the phone is almost here. AT&T has officially announced that the HP Veer 4G will be making its way over to their network very soon.

The HP Veer will be the first HP smartphone to run webOS 3, and will also be HP’s smallest phone to date. The phone will feature a slide-out portrait QWERTY keyboard, a 2.57″ touchscreen, an 800MHz processor, 8GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel rear camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and HP Touchstone compatibility. It will also feature 4G connectivity for high-speed internet access.

No bigger than a credit card and no thicker than a deck of cards, the HP Veer 4G will be available on AT&T’s network in just over a week. The HP Veer 4G will be available in black or white and goes on sale May 15 for $99.99 with a 2-year AT&T contract. Any takers?
