Google’s NFC System Is Called Google Wallet?

Yesterday we report on how Sprint and Google were teaming up to present a new NFC payment service on May 26th. Well it looks like we have a name for that service, and if the rumors are to be believed, we will be seeing Google Wallet being launched today.

Google has been actively pursuing NFC payment systems for a while now, and they think that NFC will be the next big thing with more and more phones coming together with NFC technology and the Android operating system supporting the hardware too.
