Doom Comes To The Blackberry Playbook

Doom fans it looks like you will be able to play this classic FPS on your Blackberry Playbook thanks to a port for the Playbook based on Mike Welsh’s flash version. If you remember RIM was showing this off in a demo video on the Blackberry Playbook some time back but it looks like your wish has come true.

It features some basic multitouch controls although it does bug out once in a while. At the moment only the embedded shareware episode is playable and it is free. However RIM may very well pull it from App World due to copyright issues to head on down to App World and download it before it’s gone.
