Do You Find It Hard To Sleep Without Your Phone?

According to a report by iPass, the company found that mobile workers have a hard time being physically separated from their smartphones even when it’s time to sleep. It seems that more than half, about 61 percent, of those surveyed keep their phones in their bedrooms and another 41 percent have it within arm’s reach of where they sleep. Those figures jumped to 77 and 60 percent respectively when you’re talking about the younger crowd between the ages of 22-34.

A shocking 38 percent admit to checking their e-mails at various times during the night. I have to admit there have been times when I have woken up in the middle of the night just to reach over to check my phone for messages, e-mails or Facebook.

I guess it’s one of the blessings and curses of technology in our modern age where we are constantly amazed at just how connected we are to the world no matter where we go, but yet we find it hard to let it all go when it’s time to get some shut-eye. If you want to check out the infographic by iPass, read on after the break!
