Charge Your Phones From This Truck

How many times have you been out for a full day and find your phone running low on battery somewhere in the middle? I know I have and it’s might inconvenient especially nowadays when your phone does pretty much everything for you, from e-mails, mobile banking, texting and calling. It looks like Vodafone has recognized that problem and has provided a giant truck that is said to be able to charge up to 2,000 phones at once, ranging from Android devices to Apple, Blackberry and Nokia.

This is not a permanent thing but was created for festivals, 11 to be exact. It is however limited to just Vodafone subscribers and it will be free of charge, although I am not sure how security will be handled, imagine someone stealing the truck and driving off with potentially 2,000 smartphones. That’s about as much personal information that was extracted from a recent Sony Ericsson Canadian website hack. The price we pay for convenience perhaps? Alternatively you could make sure your phone is fully charged before you leave the house.

If you want more information just head on down to Vodafone’s website.
