Cellphones Apparently Cause the Death of Bees

Allergic to bee stings or just don’t like bees in general? Next time one comes near you just whip out your cellphone and you could very well kill it, or something to that effect. What this is really about is that a Swiss Research team conducted 83 experiments and discovered that calls made from your cellphone cause bees to leave their hive, become disoriented and eventually die.

This is according to an article that was published in the bee journal – Apidologie, whereby the bees responded violently to a cellphone when it was in a call. The hive began to make a noise called the “working piping signal” which caused the bees to swarm. Upon hearing the sound the bees got disoriented and they fled their hive, flew erratically and suddenly died.

Scary thought isn’t it, imagine what cellphones are doing to us.
