T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slider Android 2.2 Froyo update is now available

One of the favorite devices for the T-Mobile subscribers is the myTouch 3G slider and the amount of these devices sold from the T-Mobile stores is a good enough confirmation of the fact. T-Mobile is now making sure that the owners of the myTouch 3G slider get their OS updated to Android 2.2 Froyo. The update is already available, but Froyo is not being rendered via the OTA medium. Instead, myTouch 3G slider owners will need a PC (or BootCamp on a Mac) to install it. You’ll also have to make sure there’s at least 25MG of user data available on the device itself. Other than fixing some bugs on the device, Android Froyo will bring in regularities such as – improved Microsoft Exchange support, better browser, WiFi hotspot capability, WiFi calling and USB Tethering.
