HTC EVO 4G and ThunderBolt to get Gingerbread by end of June?

While HTC has previously promised to release Gingerbread (Android 2.3) for the Desire family by Q2 this year, they didn’t give a specific date – after all, a quarter is 3 months long so that is a pretty wide window. Well according to reports online, HTC has released another estimated date for the ThunderBolt and the EVO 4G. Since the phones are somewhat similar to the HTC Desire HD, we assumed they would share the same Gingerbread update as well, and now HTC has confirmed it. They have mentioned that the Gingerbread update will be available between the beginning of April to the end of June – which is pretty much as vague as their previous Q2 answer – but now we know that two more phones will be getting the update. I have a feeling the HTC Inspire should also be on the list as well. Are you guys looking forward to Gingerbread or is 2.2 sufficient for you at the moment?
