After quite a number of leaks, it looks like HTC is ready to officially announce its latest phone that will be arriving on Verizon’s network – the HTC Droid Incredible 2. The Android phone is a direct successor to the previous Droid Incredible, improving on it by featuring a bigger screen, a front facing camera, DLNA support, and more.

The HTC Droid Incredible 2 packs a 4″ screen, a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Android 2.2 with HTC Sense, an 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, capable of 720p HD video capture, SRS WOWHD surround sound, integrated noise cancellation, 1.3megapixel front facing camera, Adobe Flash Player, and global capability, meaning you’ll be able to use it all over the world as long as you have a supported SIM card to use with the phone.

The HTC Droid Incredible 2 will go on sale for $199.99 with a 2-year contract on Verizon starting this Thursday, April 28 (corroborating with previous rumors about the phone’s release date). Any takers for this Android world phone when it hits the shelves?
