Ever since Apple introduced the iPod, white seems to be the new black – a color that somehow screams exclusivity and class even though it’s just white. And HP seems to have caught on to the white fever, as evident by some leaked press shots of the upcoming HP Veer. The tiny credit card-sized webOS smartphone has been spotted in white thanks to the folks at PocketNow who managed to obtain the images. Could this be a sign that the phone is on its way to our stores soon? After all, press shots usually signify that the phone is ready to be launched. But from the pictures we can confirm that the phone will be headed to AT&T.

The HP Veer packs a 2.57″ touchscreen, an 800MHz processor 8GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, HP Touchstone support, and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. No word on pricing, but the phone is supposed to be due in early spring. What do you think of the phone in white? Keen on picking one up when it launches?
