Google is constantly seeking to improve its Google Maps application for the Android users and it has now gone ahead and released an update version 5.3 of the web mapping service. This latest update brings in new location features that particularly target Latitude and Hotpot users. Google has mentioned that If you’ve enabled Location History for Google Latitude, you’ve been able to visualize interesting trends in your location history with a personal dashboard at google.com/latitude on your computer. Now with this update in place, Google will render dashboard on your phone by tapping View location history from your Latitude profile. Also, another new feature will give Google Maps users the freedom of rating locales via Places or Hotpot to input their own, personalized aspects of their location unlike previous times where Google did it automatically for users. All you require to get this update running on your Android devices in Android version 1.6 or higher.
